The Captain A.V. Nickels Inn offers luxury dining in an historic setting. The Inn, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, was built in 1874 by Captain Nickels as a gift to his bride. The Captain’s Table Restaurant and Wine Lounge offers several options for food. The restaurant is set up for fine dining with 3 and 5 course menu options featuring Certified Angus Beef and other succulent meat choices. The Wine Lounge has lighter fare such as soups, sandwiches, pasta, and cheese trays. Both menu’s change regularly, so check the web site or call the Inn for specific information on what is being served. An extensive wine cellar and full bar ensures the right beverage for either venue.
